We asked a variety of people, ranging in age questions about horror films to find out what they like and dislike in a horror so we could make sure our OTS was appealing.
As you can see from the pie chart. the people we interviewed were mostly 15-18 year olds meaning that this is our target audience to keep in mind when creating our opening title sequence.
From this pie chart we can tell that everyone we interviewed watches horrors meaning that there opinions sho8uld be taken into consideration when creating our opening title sequence.
In this pie chart we can see that the biggest portion of people prefer horrors with the sub-genre paranormal. However, we chose not to do a paranormal opening title sequence because we decided to take these statistics that there is a gap in the market for slashers. So therefore this would be our unique selling point.
From this pie chart it shows that half of the people we interviewed prefered realistic and the other half therefore prefered non-realistic horrors. This meant that it did not matter whether we did a realistic opening title sequence or not because one was not more favoured than the other.
In this pie chart it is clear that tense music is the most prefered, we therefore chose to use music that ise in pur opening title sequence as it is prefered to spooky or other.
This pie chart shows that the majority of people prefer a different horror films than those we stated. We therefore tried to make our opening title sequence different to the horrors stated above.
From this pie chart shows that advertisement is more effective on social media. We therefore would promote our OTS on social media platforms.
In this pie chart it is clear that clowns are the scariest type of killers in horrors. We therefore created our opening title sequence around a clown as it is what would be most terrifying in horror.
